About This Pooja/Seva:
Sankranthi Pitru Tarpana is a Sanātana Dharma ritual performed daily or on Amāvasyā, and especially on Makara Sankranthi, to honor ancestors (Pitru Devatas). It involves offering water, sesame seeds, and prayers to seek their blessings, express gratitude, and ensure peace and liberation for departed souls.
Note: Only those who perform Śrāddha rituals for their deceased parents are eligible to perform this Tarpana.
Please be present at 6:30 a.m. with fruits, flowers, betel leaves, 11 coins, and priest dakṣiṇā. This will be followed by prasāda (Dvādaśī Pāraṇe).
